ETSU IN CHINA - SUMMER 2010

Program: Up to 30 days in China (around the time of summer term I, depending on air reservations).  The itinerary will include study and site visits in Beijing, Xi'an, and elsewhere.  Students will attend lectures on Chinese language, culture, politics, society, and history, interact with Chinese students, and visit The Great Wall, the Forbidden City of the Emperors, the summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, the Terra Cotta Warriors and more.

Cost for students: $3,4000 (the best bargain around) that includes air fare to/from China, travel within China, accommodations, meals, and entry fees.  It does not include ETSU summer tuition and fees for 6 credit hours, passport, visa costs, travel to /from assembly point of departure/arrival in US, added or incidental expenditure, tips, or travel insurance.

$1,700 to reserve a space (including a non-refundable $300 deposit) as soon as possible
$1,700 complete payment due January 31, 2010
$3,400 (excluding 6 hours' tuition/fees)
Cost for community members:  the same as for students except it includes a $1,000 program fee in lieu of tuition.
