Sample Criticism Requirements
for Doing a Pod Cast

First off, I applaud you for trying to do this.
Learning new software and new types of programs can be a challenge.

Pod (i.e., technology) Requirements

• Five to ten minutes long
• Edit out long pauses, bad background noise, etc.
• Clear, easy to listen to audio track
• Clearly follow along with the ideas in the outline (i.e., covering the same points and in the same order)
• DO NOT just read a document
• Be sure to help students pull out main ideas that will appear on the exam.

Outline Requirements

• The basic layout guidelines and suggestions
• Review the analysis done
• What contributions does the author attempt in the conclusion?
• Schedule to see me a week in advance for review of your draft
• Electronically submit your abstract formatted as RTF to me
