This is the neighborhood

where I stayed. The main streets

are paved, but not the

neighborhood streets.

This is a market in

downtown Asuncion.

                        Iguazu Falls is probably the most impressive

                                                sight in Paraguay...and Brazil...

                                                and Argentina.

from my window.

                                                                                                    These are my wonderful hosts,

                                                                    Dennis and Cheryl Wells! OK,

                                                                    they aren't Paraguayan...they're

                                                                    Texan!

and Juan, who showed me around Ciudad del Este

and introduced me to the monkey
