Information for Authors
To Submit a Manuscript
- Click on About This Publication at the top of this page and review the information.
- Download the manuscript template for Microsoft Word by clicking here.
- Copy and paste your critique into the above formatting template document. Note that documents are not submitted in APA or ICMJE format, but in the single spaced, columnar format of the template.
- Embed tables or figures directly into the template document where you wish them to appear.
- If pasting into the above document from another document (using MS Word), after each paste operation, look for a symbol that appears next to the lower right end of the pasted material. Click on this symbol and select "Match Destination Formatting." [This forces the pasted text to change to the format in the template document rather than having the template change to the format of the document from which it was inserted.] If you have difficulties with the formatting, email the editor at the address below.
- With the document opened in MS Word, either click on File Properties (Word 2003), or Microsoft Office Button, Prepare, Properties (Word 2007), or Click on Microsoft Office Button, Document Properties, Edit Properties in Document (Word 2010). On the form that appears, enter the contact authors name, phone, and email address in any box or boxes.
- Email the file as an attachment to glennl@etsu.edu.
