Thomas Alan Holmes is an associate professor of literature in the East Tennessee State University English Department. He has a variety of classes, ranging from "Themes in Women's Literature" to "Dystopic America in the Contemporary Graphic Novel" to "Topics in Film," and his primary interests are African American literature and twentieth-century fiction. He finds writing about himself in third person creepy.

Find out what he's doing, share interesting information he's found, discover what to expect in his classes, see what he'll be teaching, and feel free to visit his "frequently asked questions." Feel welcome.
