    COURSE DESCRIPTION
    This course examines the psychological factors that may lead to quality performances in sport. Students will be introduced to the physical, mental and emotional variables related to the readiness states of performance. Research and interventions associated with the common qualities of performance will be discussed.

    COURSE OBJECTIVES
    As a result of this course the student should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the:
    a) cognitive and affective dimensions of primary and secondary involvement in performance experiences in sport
    b) individual difference dimensions of primary and secondary involvement in performance experiences in sport.
    c) social dimensions of primary and secondary involvement in performance experiences in sport.
    d) personal growth and development dimensions of primary and secondary involvement in performance experiences in sport.
