Moving

Forgotten platform soles bob to the surface of her closet.

Out they go with two expired vanilla yogurts,

read and unread mail, dust, clothes too

small for anybody she knows, too small

and out of style. The TV remote is missing,

lost, she imagines, in the cushions of the couch or somewhere

engulfed in his right hand, as it always was.
