Here are a list of some genotypic sex anomalies and mosaicisms:
XO female (Turner's syndrome - 5% survival to term; one in 2000 females are born with Turner's)
XXX female (metafemale; trisomy X, triple-X or triplo-X syndrome; one in 1000 females are triple-X)
XXXX female (tetra-X syndrome)
XXXXX female (penta-X syndrome)
XXY male (Klinefelter's syndrome; one in 500 males are born with KS)
XYY male (Jacob's syndrome, double Y syndrome; one in 1000 males are born with Jacob's syndrome... at one time, there were a few studies referring to these males as "supermales" and suggesting that there were a significant number of these males who became directors of large corporations, or tended to be involved in aggressive criminal behaviors... none of which appears to have been true).
XXYY males (XXYY syndrome)
XXXY males (Barr-Shaver-Carr syndrome)
XXXXY male (XXXXY syndrome; one in 85,000 males)
In mosaicisms, patients carry mixed cells... that is, a portion of their cells have one karyotype, while other cells carry another karyotype. Below are a list of some recognized (observed) mosaicisms:
XO/XY (xy-Turner's)... usually male
XO/XX female mosaic
XXY/XY mosaicism; mostly male (in mosaicism, some cells carry XY, other cells carry XXY)
XXY/XX mosaicism; some male, some female
XXXY/XY mosaicism; mostly male
XXXY/XX mosaicism; some male, some female
XY/XX mosaic; mostly female, often ambiguous
