        FIELD SERVICES COORDINATOR        WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT/OPERATIONS DIVISION        Eastern Division

 Job Description:This position is responsible for an offender population, affiliated with the TRICOR work program, on a routine basis to ensure a successful reentry into society upon their release.  The position will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluating Offender Program Initiatives as they relate to the goals of TRICOR and the Workforce Development/Operations Division. 

Primary Responsibilities:

 ·         Promote the Offender Placement Program with emphasis on East Tennessee

·         Teach Life Skills and related curriculum to TRICOR offender workers located within the East regional correctional facilities

·         Provide pre and post release case management services for TRICOR program participants

·         Develop partnerships with employers and support agencies within East Tennessee

·         Provide post-release employment assistance to eligible TRICOR offenders

·         Prepare reports as needed by the Workforce Development/Operations Division

·         Regional travel is required

·         Daily update to Inmate Placement Program Database

·         Contact with offender workers following their release for up to 36 months

 Education and Experience:

 ·         Prefer experience in Microsoft Access

·         Able to handle multiple projects

·         Bachelor’s Degree and experience equivalent to one year work in counseling, teaching, career development or personnel work. Qualifying full-time professional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of four years.

Executive Director -  Arc of Washington County.

The Executive Director supports The Arc of Washington County, a not-for-profit organization providing support and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Upper East Tennessee.  The Executive Director works with a governing board and active board committees. This position focuses on community networking, public awareness, program development and administration, advocacy, chapter support, fundraising and administrative management.

 The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the mission, core values and strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.

 The Arc administers programs including advocacy and public awareness with a budget of $2.3 million and a staff of 34 full and part time employees, serving 840 clients.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Education:    Bachelor’s degree with 10 years minimum experience; or a Master’s degree

Experience:  Minimum five (5) years successful experience in management and leadership in disability/advocacy service

MSW Safe Haven Center is seeking a 20-hour a week contractual therapist for its Jonesborough office. Education must be Master’s level; a LCSW or other certifications are a plus. Candidates must demonstrate experience counseling adult trauma survivors, especially from sexual assault or abuse. Additional experience in evidence-based therapies such as cognitive processing therapy a plus.

 Safe Haven Center is a nonprofit agency that has serviced survivors of sexual assault and abuse for the last 36 years. In 2008, Safe Haven Center began to serve survivors of a sexual assault crime for the counties of Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Washington and Unicoi.

Ability to provide social services assistance to patients; coordinate agency and community resources; communicate orally and in writing all assessments and interventions with patients, families and external agencies; and to work effectively to solve problems. Demonstrates competency in mandatory programming and clinical competencies. Ability to write treatment plans. Familiarity with computer use and dictation. Prefer experience working in inpatient psychiatric facility with acutely mentally ill patients.
