In Spring 2010, Drs. Robert Davidson and Bob Gardner started a program of using information from the Three Stooges to motivate students in trigonometry classes. Some of the documents used in this program include:

  1. The PowerPoint presentation introducing the Stooges and the worksheet is here.
  2. The worksheet is online: Worksheet.
  3. The solutions to this worksheet are online: Worksheet Solutions.
  4. The PowerPoint file used in the presentation at the 89th annual meeting of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America which describes the use of these ideas in the classroom is online.
  5. Questionaire for student feedback on this project.

These documents are subject to deletion at some point. Permanently available version housed on Google Drive (but not requiring a login) can be found on the The Three Stooges and Trigonometry webpage.
