USING THE MEL TEXTBOOK RESOURCES

MyEconLab has very powerful supplemental materials. There are two ways to access these textbook resources.

1. Multimedia Library

On the class webpage, click “Multimedia Library” on the left side of the page.

Next, select the chapter you are studying.

You will now have a list of supplemental materials for the chapter. Pick “Select All” and click “Find Now”. The resources will appear at the bottom of the page. Scroll down. In particular, I want you to look at two resources.

Under “Animation” you will see a list of all the figures in the chapter. Click the figure you want, and the figure will appear. Click “Next” to start the animation and the vocal narrative.

Under “PowerPoint” you have the slide set for the chapter. Work your way through the slides as you study the chapter material.

2. Chapter Resources

On the class webpage, click “Chapter Resources” on the left side of the page.

Next, select the chapter you are studying.

You will now have a list of supplemental materials for the chapter (including PowerPoint and Animation). Scroll down and select the resource you want to use. In particular, I want you to look at two resources.

Under “Animation” you will see a list of all the figures in the chapter. Click the figure you want, and the figure will appear. Click “Next” to start the animation and the vocal narrative.

Under “PowerPoint” you have the slide set for the chapter. Work your way through the slides as you study the chapter material.
