USING THE COURSECOMPASS TEXTBOOK RESOURCES

MyEconLab in the CourseCompass format has very powerful supplemental materials. In particular, there are two resources that should help you as you study the textbook materials.

On the class webpage, click on “Textbook Resources” in the menu in the upper left corner.

Next, click on the chapter you are studying.

You will now have a list of supplemental materials. In particular, I want you to look at two resources.

1) The “Multimedia Library”. Click the link and you will see a list of all the figures in the chapter. Click the figure you want, and the figure will appear. Put the cursor inside the figure, right click the mouse, and select “play”. You will have an animated presentation of the figure, along with a vocal narration of what is happening.

2) The “Student Lecture Notes”. Click the link and you will have the Power Point slide set for the chapter. Left click the mouse to move through the slides; right click for other commands. The Power Point presentation also includes the animated graphics (no voiceover however).
