We arrive early for Day Two of Naadam at the stadium in Ölgii, before the afternoon horseracing ceremonies and wrestling competition begin. We get good seats, shaded on the ground-floor benches beneath the central blue concourse. The people already there are jostling hard to see a tiny black & white TV on which the finals of the wrestling competition at the national Naadam back in Ulaanbaatar is being broadcast. Some friendly locals hoisted me aloft so that I could catch a glimpse.
