I am currently enjoying life as a professor at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). I am an astrophysicist by trade and specialize in the UV/Visual/IR spectra and NLTE radiative transfer in the atmospheres of cool red giant stars. The most important question in understanding the cosmos that I would like to have answered can be found by clicking here.

Brief History:

I still remember my first day on Earth. A lot of bright lights and loud sounds. I have been around the block a few times and have asked many questions. My professional history as a scientist can be viewed on my curriculum vitae.

On a personal level, I enjoy playing golf and camping at the South State Park of Higgins Lake in Michigan. Supposably in the 1960's, Higgins Lake was rated the 6th most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic.

I am very happy to have found an academic position at ETSU. However, I am always on the lookout for further advancement of my career and I may have found my next employer right here in Johnson City. Just click here to find out about this future dream position.
