East Tennessee State University has a beautiful campus with wonderful landscape plantings. A map giving the names and locations of over 130 species of trees and shrubs on the central portion of ETSU campus, prepared by Biology student Emily Skelton, is available on request (contact me or the Biological Sciences office). We are currently qualifying ETSU campus as a certified arboretum, and continue to expand our collections of useful and unusual landscape plants. A brochure “An Inventory of Tres and Shrubs on ETSU Campus”, by Emily Skelton, is available on request, just contact me.
