- Reading quizzes/ reading-writing exercises:  20%
- Two exams (15% each):  30%
- Essay 1: Essay Based on Personal Experience/ Observation--1000-2000 wds:  20%

- In-class presentation (on same topic as Essay 2):  5%
- Participation in draft workshops:  5%

 

Attendance, Due Dates
Attendance:  The English Department policy: more than 6 absences and you fail the course.

Due Dates:  I do not accept late work.  If you must miss class on a due date, email your work as an attachment to odonnell@etsu.edu.  Then also bring a hard copy to the following class period.
