Service Placements

for ENVS 4950 Integrative Seminar in Environmental Studies

ETSU, Spring 2014, O'Donnell

last update: Jan 16, 2014

I.  Overview of Service Requirement for This Course

For this course, you will spend 20-30 hours engaged in a service activity or project related to your area of interest within environmental studies. You will work with me to arrange your placement with an institution or group, or, in exceptional cases, to design and plan an independent project.

Keep a log of your service hours.  Each entry must include a date, time worked, and a description of what you did on that day.  A supervisor must sign your log at the end of the semester.  Satisfactory completion of service activities in a reliable fashion gives you and "A" for 25% of the final grade.
