Integrative Seminar in Environmental Studies

I. Overview of Service Requirement for This Course
For this course, you will spend 20-30 hours, over the course
of the 14-week semester, engaged in a service activity or project related to
your area of interest within environmental studies. You will work with me to
arrange your placement with an institution or group.
Keep a log of your service hours. Each entry in that log
must include 1) a date and day of the week; 2) time worked; and 3) a
description of what you did on that day. A supervisor must sign your log at the
end of the semester. Satisfactory completion of service activities in a
reliable fashion gives you and "A" for 30% of the final grade.
