GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR RESEARCH PAPERS
1) The topic of the paper must be within the subject and time frame of the course.

2) There must be an introduction and a conclusion.
3) There must be a sufficient number of sources. Usually 25-30 is a minimum for a 10-15 page paper.
4) There must be a sufficient variety of sources. If at all possible there should be primary sources. Secondary sources should include books, scholarly journal articles, and reputable internet sites.

5) There must be endnotes or footnotes using an accepted style manual.
6) There must be a bibliography.
7) Plagiarism will not be accepted.
