Table Troubleshooting


This page contains six exercises where you are to correct the flaw in each table. Download this file to your local disk by selecting Save As from the File menu.


Table Exercise 1

Edit this file so as to remove the spaces between the four images.








Table Example 2

Edit this file so that the top center cell is blank, but it has the same background as the other cells.

Table Example 3

Edit this file so as to make all of the cells the same size and align the numbers so that they appear in the right side of their cell.

Table Example 4

Edit this file so the red arrow at the center of the top image lines up with the left edge of the bottom image. You will need to use a "shim" image which you can either download to your local drive or use the absolute URL:

Table Example 5

Edit this file so that the size of each cell matches the size given in the text of that cell.

325 pixels wide by 90 pixels high 75 pixels wide by 45 pixels high
75 pixels wide by 45 pixels high
400 pixels wide by 75 pixels high







Table Example 6

Edit this file so that items 5, 6, 7, and 8 are also to the right of the column with the text beginning, "This column should...".
