Groups 2& 4:
a. Go to the internet and go to http://www/finlaw.com Click on the tab for "Search cases and codes." Search for the U.S. Supreme court decision Stanley v Georgia decided in 1969. Provide the complete site for this case. Why is this case important?
b. Go to the library and locate the key number for Stanley v Georgia and locate a case between the years 1995-2006 decided in Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky or Virginia.
Groups 5 & 7: The Model Penal Code distinguishes between voluntary and involuntary acts. Which acts according to the Model Penal Code are involuntary and thereby relieving an individual from criminal liability? What is meant by voluntary actions?

difference between mitigating factors and aggravating factors. What are the
mitigating and aggravating factors identified in Tennessee which impact capital
punishment sentencing?
Group 9: On a poster
visually list in a column or other format of your choosing arguments displaying
the pros and cons of capital punishment.
Honor Students: Locate a case between the years 1995 and 2005 on Double Jeopardy. Be able to explain why double jeopardy was or was not found in the case. Be sure to brief the case, providing complete site, issue, facts, ruling and holding and your discussion.
