<p>
The <b>ETSU Abstract Algebra Club</b> held a meeting on Friday, Otober 14, 2016.  About 17 members attended, including 3 faculty members. 
<p>

<p>
Pizza was purchased with club funds (resulting from the sell of t-shirts during academic 2015-16) from the <em>Italian Pizza Pub</em>.  Softdrinks and Halloween candy was available.
</p>

<p> <a href="http://faculty.etsu.edu/beelerr/">Dr. R.B. Beeler</a> gave a presentation "Group Theory and the Rubik's Cube," which illustrated an application of group theory to the permutations of Rubik's cube. Additional business included a discussion of possible designs for the third t-shirt.  Three designs were discussed:
