Conclusion
So there is our introduction to the special and general
theories of relativity and black holes.
The recent advances in astronomy as applied to black hole research provides
one of the pieces of observational evidence in support of Einstein's general
theory. There are many other observational areas supporting the theory
including cosmology and the study of gravitational waves.
Metaphorically, Aristotle's universe lasted 1800 years;
the universe of Galileo and Newton, for over 300 years.
We can only speculate how long we will live in...
