Based on our discussion in class on Wednesday evening, I discovered that there was a problem with one of the two textbooks, "Essentials of Organizational Behavior" by Stephen P. Robbins, for this course. 

The bookstore ordered the seventh edition of this text, when the sixth edition had been requested.  Furthermore, the text was not located correctly on the shelves.

After discussion with the bookstore, I learned that it is not possible to obtain enough used copies of the sixth edition, so you should purchase the seventh edition.  You should be able to find it along side the other required text ("Managerial Reality by Frost et al.) within the next few days.

I apologize for the confusion as well as for the price of the seventh edition.  I ordered the sixth edition in used copies initially to save the students money, but the bookstore will not cooperate with this request.

Thus, you should read chapters 1 and 2 in the Robbins text as well as the corresponding readings in Frost et al. for class next week.
