As you know by now, this is a televised
course
which means that it runs a little differently
than a standard classroom course.
The differences include:
-
That videotapes of each class will be
available in the IMC of Sherrod Library for two weeks from the date of
taping;
-
That the microphones on your tables are
sound activated which means that any noise in front of the microphone opens
it so that the other location can hear. So, tapping pencils and
opening bags of chips will nearly deafen the students at other sites.
Please be considerate of others;
-
That when you speak, you need to speak
clearly and loudly so others sites can understand what you're saying;
-
You need to try to look in the direction
of the nearest camera so that the other locations can see you.
