PHYS-4850 Course Overview

Physics Seminar as a course is designed to introduce Physics majors to professional-style scientific talks and to teach students how to prepare and present such a talk (see the document associated with the "Presentations Overview" link below). Students taking this course are required to attend every lecture presented at the seminar. In addition, each student will be required to make a presentation of their own, either on independent research they have carried out or on some scientific topic of interest in physics or astronomy. Course grades will be based upon attendance and the quality of the student's presentation.

The Spring 2015 Physics and Astronomy Seminars will be held on Mondays at 4 p.m. in Brown Hall 265 with refreshments at 3:50 p.m.
