The Sexuality, Trauma, and Reproductive Health (STARH) Lab at ETSU employs a health psychology perspective to study issues related to trauma, sexual and reproductive health, and health disparities. Examples of sexual and reproductive health topics we investigate include sexual risk behaviors, sexual dysfunction, infertility, and pregnancy and postpartum issues. Our work in health disparities includes investigation of how the experience of minority stress affects the health of LGBT individuals or individuals of racial, ethnic, or cultural minorities.
