Attendees of the first SAMS-URHP meeting on December 5, 2025
The Semi-Annual Mathematics and Statistics Undergraduate Research Honors Program Seminar (SAMS-UHRP Seminar) is held at the end of each fall and spring semester and started in the fall semester of 2025. This is the venue in which Department of Mathematics and Statistics Undergraduate Research Honors Program students give the required oral presentation component for the honors enriched classes they are taking. Students registered for Honors Thesis (MATH 4018) also give the oral presentation of their thesis work at the SAMS-UHRP Seminar. Links to the webpages for the meetings are given in the table below. This seminar is a descendant of the Semi-Annual Mathematics Honors-in-Discipline Seminar (SAM-HID Seminar) which ran from spring 2008 to fall 2014 as part of the deparmental Honors-in-Discipline program.
