January 2011 marks the 25th anniversary of the he start of Auburn University's Department of Mathematics offering of the Complex Analysis sequence (starting in Winter Quarter, 1986; MATH 623-624-625) taken by Robert "Bob" Gardner, Saad El-Zanati, Gary D. Coker, and others (including Bollschweiler, I think). The course was taught by Dr. Narendra Govil in Parker Hall. This sequence was the inspiration for Robert Gardner to pursue Ph.D. work in complex analysis with Dr. N.K. Govil.
