I am a Professor at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. This college is affiliated with East Tennessee State University. Here I work as the Assistant Dean for Learning Resources and Director of the Medical Library and the Biomedical Communications Department.
Prior to coming here, I worked for 20 years at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Libraries in various capacities. My last position there was the Head of the Agriculture-Veterinary Medicine Library, located beside the Tennessee river on the agriculture campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
At the 2001 Tennessee Library Association's annual conference, the members
honored me by electing me as their Vice-President/President Elect. I am also
a member of the Tennessee
Advisory Council on Libraries.
