| During the First Quarter 2000, Acme Pharmaceuticals, Inc. planned an expansion of their Apache facility.
The expansion was to occur during 2000 with the plant to be on-line early December 2000.
The expansion was placed on hold during the Second Quarter 2000. The project has been reactivated and is scheduled to start Monday, Oct. 3, 2005. A quick series of phone calls confirmed that all original vendors are (a) still in business and (b) interested in rebidding the project. For cost estimation purposes, assume across-the-board cost increases of 11.75%. Final costs and vendors will be provided in Assignment #3. |
