Two field trips will be arranged on March 15 (Sunday). In the morning, we will visit the Gray fossil site and the on-site Natural History Museum. As the fossil site is the State of Tennessee property, collecting fossils are not permitted. Therefore, a second trip is also planned. We are going to visit a state park, Roan Mountain, for the beautiful southern Appalachian forest.

• Trip 1. Gray fossil site at Gray, TN. (8:30-11:30 am)

Museum interior and permanent exhibit

• Trip 2. (12:00-4:00 pm) Roan Mountain State Park - including amazing Rhododendron Gardens
