The "Dr. Bob's Sporadic Analysis Award" was started in Spring 2014 to acknowledge those diligent students who stuck through an entire academic year of modern algebra classes with Robert "Dr. Bob" Gardner. It is hoped that this recognition encourages other students to complete this sequence in a time when the ETSU administration is very conscious of class size.
The first "Dr. Bob's Algebra Award" was granted to the members of the spring 2014 Introduction to Modern Algebra 2 class. The honories were: John Blackburn, Amanda Elks, Zachary Gable, Russell Harper, Christian Moore, Kyle Murphy, Brookly Younce, Rebekah White, Cory Ball, and Stephen Barker.
