There are a number of exercises/laboratories that the student will be responsible for over the course of the semester in CSCI 1710. Some of them are graded and some of them are not; some of them will be done during class and some of them will be assigned as homework, this all depends on the section's instructor. Regardless, the directions for completing the exercise will be found here.

| Sep 8 | Creating all types of links from a web page |
| Sep 10 | This lab asks you to place an image in a web page using different attributes. |
| Sep 15 | This lab will have you create an image map for a downloaded ETSU campus map. This lab will count as an assigment, so be sure to upload it to your cscidbw.etsu.edu account for grading by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 19th. |
| Sep 17 | If we have time, you should try to do the Firework tutorial introduced in this page. |
| Sep 29 | I've posted a short lab on tables. |
| Oct 1 | A Fireworks exercise to support breaking up large graphics into tables. |
| Nov 7 | You have a frames exercise to be uploaded to your cscidbw account by 5:00 PM on Friday. |
| Nov 17 | Using server-side scripts with forms |
| Nov 26 | Downloading and modifying JavaScripts from other sources |
