BROWSER AND PLAYER CROSSWORD!
(think you know your browsers & players; try this)

Warning: NETSCAPE appears to "freeze" after downloading crossword applets; Netscape can run crosswords, it just takes longer to initiate them than IE does... this "frozen state" depends on your processor speed, not your modem. Netscape "freezes" for 22-31 seconds before initializing this crossword on a 600 MHz PIII and for 45-61 seconds on a 433 MHz PII (while in this "frozen state," your computer appears to be doing absolutely nothing, but it is silently "initializing" the applet). Very old Netscape versions (eg. 4.6), will run crossword applets, but please go to the "media players" page and upgrade to Netscape 4.74 or 6.0 beta... and, be patient if using Netscape; it's worth the wait!

**Here's how it works:**
Click the mouse or use Arrow keys to position the Caret
Use Control + Space Bar to switch between Across and Down
Set Hints On with Hint button (speakers on; tells you if you make a mistake)
Delete or Space Bar will remove a letter (or just type over it)
