This web page has been set up for the students at ETSU taking ASTR-1010 Astronomy I with Dr. Luttermoser. Links have been set up for the students to download the course notes, homework, handouts that have been given out in class, and textbook's web page. The files that can be downloaded are in PDF (Portable Document Format, which requires Acrobat Reader to view) format. Note that we will be using Edition 2.0 of my course notes during the Spring 2001 semester.


Course Overview

Astronomy I covers the night sky, radiative and thermal properties of matter, telescopes, the objects in the solar system, and the atmosphere of the Sun.
